of God. Through a careful process of prayer and
study counselors are able to discern a correlation
of concepts from psychology, which fits into a
Christian’s worldview.
Counseling is more than behavior modification and
at its best seeks to journey with the client towards
life transformation. Counseling acknowledges freedom
and responsibility while assisting clients in their
search for truth and meaning. Effective counselors
understand that without the truth of Christ one
cannot enter into authentic relationships. A
Counselor's only hope in counseling is for the
Spirit to intervene in the life of the client. When
the Spirit of God intervenes, miracles occur, and
